KAMAZ has successfully met all targets of its business plan for October 2003 and keeps on outrunning last year pace.

In October KAMAZ manufactured and marketed its production to the amount of 2,310 rubles, including 2 292 trucks and 3 500 passenger cars, 2 850 engines and power units, 382,1 mln. rubles’ spare parts and 303,650 mln. Rubles’ products of diversification. This year customers of

KAMAZ Inc. have received 19 722 trucks, it is by 23,7 % more as compared with the same period of 2002. There were exported 3 693 trucks. KAMAZ has manufactured 32 500 «OKA» passenger cars, thus the Company is exceeding the production plan vs. last year. This year KAMAZ has marketed spare parts to the amount 3, 833 bln. Rubles. It is by 13,8 % more as compared with 2002. There has been manufactured 2,698 bln. Rubles of products of diversification . It is by 27,3 % more than a year before.

All KAMAZ Inc. divisions overrun their production plans too. Optimized cooperation of divisions and their major production facilities, resulting from the structural reorganization within the Company has insured significant improvement of coordination of activities and accurate realization of production plans. Reduction of production costs is also quite evident. The latter is especially important for KAMAZ Inc. because of constant cost increase of materials, components and utilities. This issue was on the agenda of the meeting of Board of Directors of KAMAZ Inc. on October 27, 2003. There has been developed and approved certain steps for cost reduction in the 4th Q, in addition to those in progress. If all targets are met, the Company will again profitable results and earn 92 mln. Rubles of profit. In October, the Company has already got 45 million rubles of net profit.
