Getting access to the Internet through the reserved ADSL line within the Tochka. ru (Dot. Ru) project costs now only $199, down from $400. For the time being this price reduction will be available only under two tariff plans, Moskovsky ($37.8 a month, 80 MB of the prepaid Internet traffic) and Stolichny ($63, 250 MB accordingly).

Tochka.ru is a joint project of MGTS JSC and MTU-Intel started in 2000. Unlike other types of the reserved Internet access the one provided by Tochka.ru allows to avoid drawing a special cable to users’ offices or apartments. The broadband ADSL access is based on existing common telephone lines, which separate the voice traffic from the data one.
