In accordance with Resolution No. 13/05-11 of August 14, 2002 passed by the Anti-Monopoly Ministry of the Russian Federation, new tariffs are to be established for local and long-distance telephone service.
Household subscriber fees have been raised to Rub 95, while party lines or parallel lines will now cost Rub 76, while collective phone lines will cost Rub 124. All organizations which are funded and not funded out of the budget will be charged a monthly fee of Rub 155.
As for telephone installation fees, organizations will be charged Rub 7,000. The urgent installation fee is to be raised as follows:
- Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Koltsovo - Rub 7,000;
- Regional centers, urbanized villages and regional cities - Rub 6,000;
- Settlements in the Novosibirsk region (except for Krasnoobsk and Koltsovo) - Rub 4,000;
- Rural areas - Rub 4,000;
The aforementioned tariffs are non-inclusive of the sales tax.
Long-distance calls made on trunk and intra-zonal channels will go up on the average of 20 percent for budget-funded organizations and 25 percent for residential subscribers.
