The
AK&M rating agency conducted a comprehensive study of the
reporting of Russian companies and prepared a group of ESG ratings
based on the results of activities for 2022. As a result of the
analysis, the companies Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga
region were assigned the highest non-financial reporting rating –
RESG 1, reflecting the quality of disclosure of information on
sustainable development. In accordance with the agency’s
methodology, the reporting for 2022 of Rosseti Centre received 97
points, and the reporting of Rosseti Centre and Volga region – 89.4
points out of 106.6 possible.
Rosseti
Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region disclose data on
sustainable development as part of the publication of integrated
annual reports using the methodology of the Global Reporting
Initiative GRI Standards and highlighting the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals. The reports reflect the companies’
activities to integrate the principles of sustainable development
into their business model and provide quantitative assessments of the
level of environmental impact. The companies’ constant priority
remains to ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to
consumers, which is reflected in each section of the annual reports.
The
companies also traditionally occupy leading positions in ESG ratings
in the Energy Grids category. At the end of 2022, Rosseti Centre and
Rosseti Centre and Volga region took 3rd and 4th place in the Social
Efficiency rating, 4th and 6th place in the Social Responsibility
rating, and 4th and 5th place in the Carbon Footprint rating. The
achieved results confirm the companies’ commitment to high
standards of social responsibility, information transparency and
respect for nature.
