Alexander Ryazanov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee presided over an ordinary meeting of the Company’s Regional Policy Commission. Attending the meeting were more than 60 representatives of Gazprom’s subsidiaries responsible for the interaction with the Commission in Russian regions.

The Commission addressed issues related to the improvement of gas supply legislation in the Russian Federation regions. Gazprom’s respective departments received instructions to keep on actively working in this direction.

At the same time, the Commission reviewed the progress in the implementation of Gazprom’s Program on gas supply intensification in the RF regions for 2004 as well as considered proposals to draft a similar program for the upcoming year.

Gazprom’s Capital Construction and Transportation Department and Promgaz received recommendations to keep on building up a program on expansion of gas supplies to the RF regions for 2005.
