Rosseti Volga

June 17, 2020

Rosseti Volga participates in the implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality roads"

On the territory of the Samara Region, the implementation of a national project "Safe and High-Quality Roads" aimed at creating a modern, comfortable, reliable road transport infrastructure, goes on. In 2020, the action plan includes 27 objects of regional significance. It is planned to repair more than 240 km of roads, of which about 183 km are regional highways.

Power engineers of the Samara Grids branch of Rosseti Volga (a brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) are actively involved in the implementation of the national project. For example, within the framework of the 2nd stage of the construction of the Frunzensky bridge crossing in Samara, power engineers will have to increase the dimensions of the existing Kryazhskaya-1 35 kV overhead power line over the newly constructed overpass across the railway. In general, the project provides for the construction of a highway from Shosseynaya Street to the border of Samara on a 7.8 km section with two transport interchanges at different levels and an overpass across the railway.

To reconstruct the bridge over the Sok River on the Volzhsky – Kurumoch – Ural highway, a temporary technological connection of the construction site networks was performed.

Technical specifications have been issued for several facilities included in the list of regional highways and planned for repair in 2020.

In addition, the branch is working on technological connection to the networks of road lighting systems, automated traffic control systems, video surveillance and communications.
