Today, XVI International competitions of professional skills of personnel of the power industry of CIS members-states - International competition of teams on repair and maintenance of 10/0,4 kV distribution grids were launched in Kyzylorda (Republic of Kazakhstan) at the training ground of Kyzylorda Distribution Grid Company JSC. The organizers of the competitions were the Executive Committee of Electricity Council the CIS, the host party was Kyzylorda Distribution Grid Company JSC. Participants and attendees at the opening ceremony were welcomed by the distinguished guests - the Akim of Kyzylorda region Kuanishbek Iskakov, Deputy Chairman of the Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control Committee of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abay Shangitbayev, Chairman of the Veterans' Council of Kazakhstan Electricity Association Sovetkhan Nurpeisov and others. Kuanishbek Iskakov welcomed the participants of the competition: "We, Kyzylorda residents, are glad that such an important international tournament, which has become a good tradition, aimed at the development and expansion of integration ties of national energy systems, is held in our region this year.

These competitions, which involve professionals, specialists from 8 countries of CIS, is one of the effective methods of personnel training. Today, modern power industry defines high requirements. You are faced with specific tasks to ensure the reliability of the operation of the power grid complex, where the main role is played by competent and highly qualified specialists. Therefore, the exchange of knowledge and practical experience has a special place in our professional development." The Governor of Kyzylorda region also noted that this event will be not only a competition of professional skills, but also a place of communication, strengthening of professional and cultural ties, development of friendship between peoples. Teams from 8 countries - the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Georgia, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republics of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan - take part in International competitions. The Russian Federation is represented by Rosseti PJSC team, represented by a subsidiary of Rosseti Volga (brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC).

The right to be called the best power engineers of Russia and to defend the honor of the country at International competitions deservedly went to the employees of Rosseti Volga on the basis of All-Russian Competitions of Professional Skills of the Rosseti Group. Judicial commissions included representatives of all countries. Participants will demonstrate their professional skills in 7 stages, including testing of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and actions in emergency situations. At the time of the International competitions, an exhibition of manufacturers of equipment and means of protection was organized, during which guests and participants of the competition will be able to get acquainted with new developments of manufacturers used in the field of power industry.
