LUKOIL completed the sale of wholly owned subsidiary – LUKOIL Chemical B.V. (the Netherlands), which owns petrochemical plant «Karpatneftekhim» located in Ivano-Frankovsk area of Ukraine.

The petrochemical plant «Karpatneftekhim» was put into operation in early 1970s. In 2004 it became LUKOIL’s subsidiary. The key petrochemicals produced by the plant are polyvinylchloride, polyethylene, propylene and caustic soda. Since September 2012 the processing units have been idle, but maintained in fully operational condition by LUKOIL.
