Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), works on the replacement of package transformer substations (PTS) in the distribution grids of the settlements of Volsky, Dukhovnitsky, Krasnopartizansky and Hvalynsky districts of the Saratov region. They are replaced by new external package transformer substations (EPTS).

 Energy workers of the North-East Production Department of Saratov Distribution Grids will install eleven new EPTS. All of them will be equipped with transformers with reduced no-load losses and metering devices for remote collection of data. The total capacity of newly installed EPTS is 2,300 kVa. The anchor dead-end supports of 10 kV and 0.4 kV overhead power lines will also be replaced.

Reconstruction of the distribution grids will improve the reliability of power supply for more than 700 customers will lead to the reduction of losses in the electric grids and their operating costs.
