One of the key topics of the conference was improvement of electric power supply quality in the regional centre as well as in Plesetsk, Severodvinsk and within the Solovetsky Islands archipelago.

A working meeting of General Director of Russian Grids, JSC Oleg Budargin and Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Igor Orlov took place in Moscow. General Director of IDGC of the North-West, JSC (subsidiary company of Russian Grids, JSC) Sergey Titov participated in the negotiations as well.

In the course of the discussion Igor Orlov highly appreciated the grid company work within the region territory, noting the high level of power industry specialists’ interaction with the regional authorities during solution of issues dealing with ensuring reliability of energy supply within the region. 

The parties discussed issues related to the region electric power grid complex development and power industry facilities territorial planning.  The power industry specialists of the North-West, jointly with Federal Grid Company (part of Russian Grids, JSC group of companies) were commissioned to prepare proposals on development of electric power industry supply schemes for the Pomorye region.
