IDGC of he North-West having collected 31 thousand technical connection requests in 2012, 92% of them - from preferential category consumers

In 2012, the number of requests for technological connection of power receivers to IDGC of the North-West, JSC grids increased by 18% as compared to the previous year. During the year, 31,116 technical connection requests were submitted to the Company, the total capacity amounting to 1,255.9 MW. 92% of the total number of request received were initiated by applicants with capacity up to 15 kW (the so-called preferential category consumers), their total capacity amounting to 302.6 MW. The number of requests for preferential technical connection and the capacity accordingly required increased by accordingly 23.5% and 31.1% as compared to 2011. The volume of fulfilled technical connection contracts increased by 23.7% as compared to 2011. Last year, IDGC of the North-West executed 16,701 contracts for performance of technological connection with a total capacity of 339.6 MW For the most part (95%), they deal with power units of consumers up to 15 kW. According to the recent three years data, approximately 40% of IDGC of the North-West investment program are spent on discharge of obligations for technological connection of users' power units to the grids. In 2012, proceeds from technical connection made 1,411.9 mln RUR.
