This year, during the major overhaul, a number of actions on perfection of flow diagram have been realized at OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim in One-stage Isoprene Facility of the Isoprene Synthetic Rubber Plant.

In particular, a circuit of sewage heat utilization has been put into operation that, according to calculations of experts, will allow to reduce energy consumption by 0,2 GCal/t of isoprene. Other implemented alterations are aimed at provision of necessary quantity of formaldehyde for isoprene production and prevention of clogging of technological columns with "heavy" resins.
