“Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC approved a 2007-2015 Environmental Program, making a component part of the Company’s General Socio-Economic Development Program and chiefly targeted at scaling down the negative environmental impact.
The Program contemplates for practical activities in implementing the pronounced environmental policy to actually augment ecological efficiency and emergency resistance of the production facilities, to introduce environmental installations, to set up an effective monitoring system and to advance an Environmental Management System.
The Program implementations are specifically intended to considerably save natural resources, to reduce emissions and dumping.
The Program stresses the need of preserving natural environment and contemplates for compensatory afforestation of a 100 hectare area, accomplishment and planting of trees and gardens in the territory of the Company and the Town, sanitary attendance to suburban forestry.
