Based on financial results for the first eight months of 2002, the gross revenue of OJSC Khantymansiiskokrtelecom increased by 41 percent compared to the same period last year and stood at Rub 2.06 bn.  This figure includes income generated from the Company's core activity: provision of telecom services, which soared 36 percent and reached Rub 1.66 bn.  

Revenue derived from household telecom services accounted for a large volume of overall earnings, i.e. 66 percent. Households in the region accounted for Rub 1.10 bn, which is 43 percent more than the year-earlier period. ARPU of OJSC Khantymansiiskokrtelecom stood at Rub 774, a rate which remains the unrivalled leader among all Russian telecom companies.
