The Organizing Committee of the International Forum "Electric Networks" approved the business program of IFES-2019. It traditionally includes plenary session, panel discussions, round tables, presentations of innovative projects and startups, business meetings and negotiations.

The main theme of the events corresponds to the key theme of the Forum - “Digital Transformation: new opportunities for regions and investors. ” Issues of digital changes in the regions and attracting investments for innovative transformations in the industry will be proposed for discussion.

One of the key discussions will be devoted to economic incentives for the introduction of digital technologies in networks. Within the framework of separate sessions, issues of cybersecurity, the development of electric transport and charging infrastructure as an integral part of the electric grid complex of the future, the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the energy sector, the development of legal regulation, import substitution and much more will be discussed.

On the third day of the forum, the scientific-practical conference “Relay protection and automation of energy systems” will traditionally be held. An important topic of discussion will be the task of ensuring the stable and reliable functioning of the electric grid complex during the period of digital changes, the solution of which is largely determined by relay protection and automation systems.

Much attention will also be paid to Russian startups and venture companies working in the field in the electric power industry. At "IFES-2019", they will present their expositions in the form of a separate case zone and will be able to present their innovative projects directly to investment experts.

The events will be attended by leaders of the energy industry - representatives of government, heads of major grid and generating companies, the media, equipment and technology manufacturers, as well as businessmen, experts, scientists, and public figures. The moderators will be famous journalists, experts, representatives of the scientific community and public figures.

The Forum’s Organizing Committee includes the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy Pavel Zavalny, Director General of "Rosseti" Pavel Livinsky and others.
