The milestone event for representatives of the business community started in Moscow on October 2 and brought together leaders of the largest domestic and international energy companies, leading world experts, and government officials.

As part of the delegation of the "Rosseti" group, the largest International Forum was visited by Vladimir Ryabikin, General Director of "Rosseti Volga" (brand "IDGC of Volga"). The Head of the Company took part in key events sponsored by "Rosseti" Holding - plenary discussions, round tables and sessions on various aspects of the development of the electric grid complex.

“Russian Energy Week" is an opportunity to discuss at the highest level matters of current interest and drivers for the development of the industry, global tasks of digitalization of the electric grid complex, which are directly related to improving energy efficiency, reliability and quality of power supply to consumers, which is our main task,” - said the General Director of “Rosseti Volga" Vladimir Ryabikin.

The Head of the Company took part in the plenary discussion "Digital transformation cannot be stopped: how to ensure the safety of life-supporting infrastructure?". At the event, industry leaders discussed the prospects of introducing unified cybersecurity standards in Russia, joining forces of leading domestic companies in this field to protect consumers in the context of global digital transformation. Within the framework of Operational-Repairing Needs-2019, discussions were also held on topical issues of the Holding's technical policy, sessions on new technological trends in the energy market, integration of RER (Renewable Energy Resources) into the energy system, present and future energy infrastructure of cities and regions.

Presently, representatives of the electric grid complex will take part in the All-Russian meeting on the preparation of electric power entities for work in the autumn-winter period 2019-2020, as well as in the session “Prospects for cooperation between FEC (fuel and energy complex) and MIC (military-industrial complex) enterprises for import substitution and technological development”.
