LUKOIL was recognized as the best exporter by the organizing committee of the contest of Russian importers and exporters chaired by Vladimir Bulavin, head of the Russian Federal Customs Service. 

LUKOIL wins this contest for the second time in a row and for the fourth time in 11 years that this contest exists.

The winner in the best exporter nomination is selected on the basis of such main criteria as customs statistical data and economic performance parameters of respective companies over the course of the year, including production volumes and foreign trade turnover, amount of customs duties payed to the federal budget, use of the customs e-declaration system and absence of customs law violations.

The contest takes place every year as part of the Moscow Customs Forum held just a few days before the Day of the Russian Federation Customs officer, celebrated on October 25. This year Russia's Federal Customs Service is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
