"Baltika Brewery" and the Danish brewing company "Carlsberg Breweries A/S" have signed a mutually beneficial agreement which gave "Baltika" a license to brew "Carlsberg" beer in Rostov-on-Don at "Baltika-Don Brewery". Starting this summer "Carlsberg" will be launched in 30 liter kegs and 0,5 liter glass bottles. 
 Production capacities allow to produce approximately 10 000 hl of "Carlsberg" per year. "Carlsberg" will be the International Premium beer brand produced by "Baltika Brewery", "Parnassus" - local premium brand was put into production in 2001. 
 "Carlsberg" is one of the worlds leading brands and on the 7th place among the European beer brands in terms of sales volumes. The licensed beer segment in Russia is now developing and is estimated to become 2% of the total Russian beer market in 2002. 
 Previous year Baltika's sales volume reached 14 mln hl. Company's market share of the domestic beer market is 22,5 %.
