OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim became the awardee of the Russian national prize “Russian Creators” in two categories: “Innovations in the information technologies” and “Investment project in the field of power engineering”.

The reports were presented in the first category on establishment of Automated Operational Dispatcher Control (ASODU) of product manufacture, as well as the results of integration of enterprise management system SAP ERP with RubberNetwork consortium in the sphere of relations with customers.

Multifunctional ASODU system was commissioned and successfully runs on all the plants of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim. On a real-time basis the system provides the Company’s management with information needed for monitoring of the main inventories and taking prompt decisions. Information from ASODU system is the source for SAP ERP system. In 2010 recertification of practical activities was conducted by specialists of Customer Competence Center SAP and as a result OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim gained the status of the Center of Customer Examination.

Integration of the management system with a strategic customer via RubberNetwork enables operation of the partner companies in close contact with each other, and they can plan in advance the production of not only branded range of products but also calculate the controlled volumes and time of deliveries.

As for “Investment project in the field of power engineering” category the report was presented on implementation of the Company’s energy saving program, including the results of putting in operation of the local energy source that is the cogeneration gas turbine plant GTU-75. Capital investments for this installation amounted to 1.9 billion rubles, and it was totally financed by OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim. Combined generation of electric power and heat using the gas-turbine technology and the maximum possible heat recovery of the burnt fuel is the most economical and environmentally friendly technology at present.

Awarding procedure was part of the International forum “Integration of Russian business in the world economic territory as the strategy for competitive recovery”, that was held in the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry on November 10 – 11.
