The regular dealers’ conference took place at Small Passenger Car Plant on 21 November. More than 60 “Oka” dealers gathered together for constructive dialogue with the management of the plant. In the course of the conference there were noted the leaders among the dealers, who move the Plant’s output forward. These are “MTD – OKA” Moscow, “TransTechService” Naberezhnye Chelny city, “TTC” Nizhny Novgorod, “TatTransKom” Naberezhnye Chelny city, ‘Vsevolzhsky – Lada” Volzhsky city. In general, the dealers have sold more than 20 000 “Oka” cars within 10 months, it is about 70 % of the marketed cars total volume. The dealers network is always growing and there are 12 constant customers, which claim the status of a dealer.

Today is assembled the 250 000 “Oka’ car. The plant is making a progress. The 200 000 “Oka” car has been assembled last August and now another 50 000 have found their owner not only in Russia, but also in many countries of the world.

Director General of “Small Passenger Car” OJSC congratulated the staff with this remarkable event. So did the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Ildar Khalikov. Staffs of the enterprises, that supply «Oka» with the components, received congratulations too. They are Frame – and – Stamping Plant, Forging, Foundry and Assembly Plants.

Passenger Car Plant staff has a number of labour victories such as production of the 10 000 car body, painted in a new painting shop at “DURR” line, victory in “Best 100 Goods of Russia” contest, the received Diploma of the KAMAZ Inc. Quality Prize Winner 2003.

Small Passenger Car Plant is confidently moving forward. It is planned to produce 100 000 cars per year and to launch “Oka-2” in production in future. “Oka” keeps conquering those who can estimate its best qualities.
