During the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and SUEZ Groupe SAS signed an agreement of intent to implement a joint project in the area of rational and sustainable resource management.
The document was signed by Andrey Shishkin, Rosneft Vice President for Energy, Localization and Innovations and Bertrand Camus, Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ Groupe SAS.
The document provides the procedure of actions aimed at creating a joint venture that will accumulate competencies, technologies, knowledge and experience in the field of water supply and drainage, transfer and localization of advanced wastewater treatment technologies.
Rosneft and SUEZ Groupe SAS consistently implement the agreements set forth in the Strategic Cooperation Agreement signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum held in 2018. The implementation of the new agreement will allow the Company to expand its competences in the design of water treatment plants and purification facilities equipped with digital remote monitoring technologies.

The facility rated for 84,000 cubic meters per day is unparalleled both in Russia and in the countries of Eurasia.
The design throughput of the facility (more than 3,500 m³ / hour) is rated to accept all industrial, stormwater and domestic wastewater of not only Bashneft refinery, but also 66 other enterprises of the Northern industrial hub of Ufa, considers the future development of the plants and can withstand the flood period of time.
