As part of XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and Orenburg region signed a supplement agreement on cooperation in the social sphere.

The document was signed by Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin, and Acting Governor of Orenburg region Denis Pasler.

In accordance with this document, the Company shall provide financial assistance in upgrading the building of Orenburg Regional Clinical Hospital and procuring medical equipment. Specialists of the Hospital annually deliver medical care to 224 thousand patients who live in 42 municipal districts of the region.

An agreement on cooperation in the social sphere between Rosneft and Orenburg region has been in place since 2014.

Large Upstream Subsidiaries of the Company are operating in the region, including Orenburgneft, Samaraneftegaz, Bashneft-Dobycha.
