Khanty-Mansiysk. RSM Top-Audit (Moscow) has confirmed the accuracy of data in the financial report of UTair airline (UTair Aviation, JSC) for 2002. The audit consisted of verifying facts based on testing the provision of values and disclosure of information about the company’s financial activities in its accounting statements. It also included the estimates of accounting principles and methods, the rules of preparing accounting statements and defining basic accounting estimates. Finally, the auditors evaluated the accounting statements in general, an announcement of RSM Top Audit says. After the auditing, RSM Top Audit drew up a conclusion confirming that the UTair Aviation accounting statements substantially reflected the financial situation in the company as of December 31, 2002 and financial results for January 1 to December 31 2002 inclusively. Taking into consideration the auditors’ proposal and the auditing results, the airline has prepared an annual report and annual accounting statements, including profit-and-loss statements for 2002. UTair’s net profit reached 61.771m rubles last year, which was 17m more than preliminary net profit approved by the shareholders in June.
