Alexander Pogozhev, Seversal's director of manufacturing, pointed out that in spite of multiple maintenance projects Severstal has increased production due to an improvement in the market. The company plans not only to increase output (rolled steel production in October is planned at 732,000 tonnes) but to produce more value added products.
