The stance of AO MOSENERGO on tariffs policy is met with understanding by the leadership of the Moscow and regional energy commissions, Aleksandr Raev, head of planning and economic department of AO MOSENERGO, said. Company representatives hold regular consultations with counterparts from energy commissions of Moscow and Moscow region, coordinating prices for components that are used to calculate energy tariffs. The main components of MOSENERGO production costs are natural gas and client fees for the use RAO UES grids. Other factors that impact energy tariffs are the cost of equipment and technologies, as well as the energy consumption growth which exceeded 5% in Moscow and Moscow region last year. According to Aleksandr Raev, the heat and energy tariffs that were established by energy commissions of Moscow and Moscow region last February, are justified from the economic point of view and match the company's production expenditures. The leadership of energy commissions of Moscow and Moscow region takes into account the fact that the higher price for components of the heat and electric energy which is expected to materialize in the middle or the end of this year will inevitably lead to raising tariffs on heat and electric energy.
