The process of certification started at the Bank in early August of 2002 and was successfully completed by September 18th. Within this period all necessary finishing works in the Bank's software and terminal equipment were performed aimed at accepting micro-processing cards.

EMV Standard, developed by MasterCard and VISA, would enable to enhance protection of the banking card transactions and, hence, would ensure security of transactions and strengthening the customers' confidence in the Bank's cards.

Since 1996 Bank Vozrozhdeniye started issuing bankcards of the payment system VISA Int. and in 1998 the Bank received the status of Principal Member of this system.

In 1998 the Bank was granted the status of Principal Member of the payment system MasterCard.

Since September 2001 the Bank has been servicing the cards of Union Card System.

Bank Vozrozhdeniye has its own processing centre. At the moment, the issue volume of bankcards has totaled 276,000 cards including 140,000 cards of the payment system VISA Int. The Bank is servicing 560 merchant and service enterprises. Cash advance transactions can be conducted through 152 ATMs and 154 cash advance outlets.
