Moscow, 2 February 2005. In 2004 CenterTelecom commissioned 100 788 telephone lines, over 280 km of fiber optic trunk lines and 47 km of in-zone lines in Moscow region. The total length of in-zone lines as of 1 January 2005, was 1 884.3 km.

In 2004 both the provision of telephone communications in the populated areas of the region with the use of modern technologies and systems as well as the implementation of the modern telematic and telecommunication services introduction programs were among the company's priorities. Throughout the year CenterTelecom multiservice network in Moscow region was expanded by over 19 000 ports. The number of Internet permanent subscribers (through dedicated lines and dial-up access) totaled about 24 500.

Currently the company's huge investments allowed creating a modern telecommunication infrastructure in the region, which will assist in attaining the objectives in terms of providing telephone communications and information services coverage in Moscow region.

CenterTelecom Moscow branch supports the telecommunication infrastructure of Moscow region. The branch renders local, long-distance and international communication services, data transfer, ISDN, and Internet access.
