A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman and Klaus-Peter Muller, Chairman of the Board of Commerzbank AG, was held today at Gazprom’s Headquarters.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in attracting investments to implement Gazprom’s large-scale projects.
A. Miller and K.-P. Muller pointed out that Commerzbank was one of Gazprom’s core partners in project financing and highly evaluated joint projects on arranging for long-term loans.
The parties exchanged opinions on financing Gazprom’s projects in the CIS and EU countries.

Commerzbank is a member of a range of banking consortiums granting large loans for Gazprom’s projects, including designing the MIDAL-STEGAL and Blue Stream gas pipelines.
At the start of 2004, Commerzbank served as co-arranger for a long-term loan granted to Gazprom.
