At the beginning of April Marine Safety Division of RF Ministry of Transportation and Communication approved Safety Plans for 16 tankers worked out by Tranzas Consulting for domestic fleet of the Primorsk Shipping Corporation. Safety Plans were prepared together with specialists of PRISCO Safety and Quality Department. Vessels were estimated for safety (vulnerability analysis), suggestions on vessels safety improvement were made and Safety Plans meeting requirements of International Code on Safety of vessels and port facilities were worked out. As it is known this Code comes into effect from July 01, 2004.
