A working meeting was held today between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Yury Boiko, Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Minister as part of the visit by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich to Russia.

The meeting participants continued discussion of the issues related to setting up a joint venture between Gazprom and Naftogaz Ukrainy, particularly, the resource base that could be contributed by Gazprom to the JV. The parties considered certain fields, including those located in the Astrakhan Oblast.
