In the branch "Rosseti Volga" (brand of PJSC "MRSK Volga") - "Ulyanovsky networks" reconstruction of the air line (VL) 10 kV, providing electricity supply to consumers of the village Lugovaya, has been completed. On the braces of the reconstructed line there are 4 10 kV reclousers installed, the use of which will ensure automatic disconnection of damaged sections without disconnection of other consumers.

Due to installation of one sectional reclouser, it will be possible to provide standby power supply to consumers in case of repair works or emergency situations at the power supply center of "Lugovaya" AR. In addition to emergency functions and possibility of automatic redundancy of power supply reclousers perform functions of monitoring, accounting of characteristics of electric network. If it is necessary to perform repair works and to find the place of damage with the help of reclousers, the network scheme can be changed quickly and remotely, which significantly reduces the time of emergency recovery works. The installed equipment is integrated into the control and data acquisition system (SCADA), whereby the network parameters are displayed in real time at the control room. In case of deviations, the system automatically allocates the damaged area and, as far as possible, restores the power supply to consumers by performing all necessary switches automatically or as a last resort by remote dispatching control.

In total, during the reconstruction of energy, a new section of the 10 kV line with a length of 500 meters was built with the use of an insulated wire. Installation of reclousers is one of the components of the project of digital transformation of the electric grid complex, the implementation of which will allow energy engineers to achieve maximum observability and controllability of the network in real time, control of parameters and modes of operation, self-diagnostics and self-recovery of the network.
