On January 17, a meeting of veterans of Road of Life took place. It was dedicated to the 60 years of breaking of the Siege of Leningrad. The LOMO representative was presented at the festive occasion. He handed over presents to the veterans from the firm.

            People who provided at one time life of the sieged city gathered at the meeting. Their heroic deed is impossible to be estimated. Drivers, seamen, traffic-controllers, nurses... All they have gathered together to remember those far-away war years. The mood was indeed festive - the battle rewards were shining, the eyes were sparkling. It seemed that meeting with their old and faithful friends they were going through their glorious youth again...

              For each of them LOMO prepared a gift - a model of famous "one-and-a-half-ton truck" GAZ-AA car, permanent hard worker of the Road of Life. The models were manufactured according to the special order at "ABM-LOMO" firm - subsidiary company of LOMO PLC. "Exactly as mine", - admired one of the veterans by the model, - "Even the number is the same".

            Care of veterans is a sacred duty of every citizen of our country. LOMO PLC employees from the bottom of their heart thank the representatives of the war generation for the great deed and sincerely congratulate them with 60 years of breaking of the Siege.
