On the 14th January 2010 Director General of IDGC of Siberia Aleksandr Antropenko presented his report on the company’s performance to the Russian Energy Minister S. I. Shmatko and the management of JSC IDGC Holding.
A preliminary detailed analysis was carried out with regard to the company that transports electricity via distribution grids in the Republics of Altai, Buryatia, Khakassia and Tuva, the Altai, Zabaikalye and Krasnoyarsk Territories, the Kemerovo, Omsk and Tomsk Regions.
The management appreciated clear, coordinated and efficient emergency response by the staff of IDGC of Siberia during the accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP and positively assessed the preparations by IDGC of Siberia for the autumn and winter load peak. In 2009 IDGC of Siberia increased its repair program by 22% year-on-year to 1.88 billion rubles and was the first among subsidiaries of IDGC Holding to obtain the certificate of readiness for the 2009-2010 winter/autumn load peak. IDGC of Siberia pays special attention to the upgrade of its PPE and higher energy efficiency.
