Central Region telecom cable layers and splicers from the Vladimir City Telephone Network received an excellent evaluation for their professional merit.

The contest was held from June 4 - 8 at Smolensksvyazinform and the Smolensk Telecommunications College. A total of 12 teams from 11 companies in the Central Region of Russia took part in the contest.

Sergei A. Loban, deputy director of the Vladimir City Network line installation department of Electrosvyaz, along with Anatoly A. Reut, a class 6 cable layer and splicer and Vladimir A. Ignatyev, a class 5 cable layer and splicer, took part in the contest. The team took second place in the contest, and received a professional excellence award, as well as cash prizes. In addition, these professionals will benefit from a 20% monthly salary raise for the next 12 months.
