The overall electricity generation by TGC-1, including Murmanskaya CHPP, for the nine months 2015, insignificantly reduced year-over-year by 1.6% to 18,841 million kWh resulting in 0.3% electricity sales reduction to 21,304 million kWh. 

Electricity generation over the nine months of 2015 at TGC-1 HPPs increased by 7.2% to 9,440 million kWh. The increase in electricity generation was driven by a higher water level at the Kolsky and Karelsky Branches on a year-over-year basis.

Electricity generation at CHPPs reduced by 9% to 9,401 million kWh. The cause was scheduled overhaul at the power generating units of Pravoberezhnaya CHPP, Pervomayskaya CHPP and Severnaya CHPP. Furthermore, the Company is implementing the project aimed at the optimisation of production capacity utilisation by selecting more energy efficient options.

Average per unit consumption of fuel equivalent used for electricity output in the Company decreased by 0.9% to 264.5g/kWh over the nine months 2015.

TGC-1 overall installed electric capacity utilisation factor remained flat at 40.4% on a year-over-year basis.

Based on the results of the nine months of 2015, heat generation at TGC-1, including Murmanskaya CHPP amounted to 13,383 thousand Gcal being 2.7% below 2014. A reduction in heat output is related to the re-distribution of a heat load at the Nevsky Branch power plants and a smaller demand for heat in the Murmansk Oblast due to a higher outdoor temperature.

Average per unit consumption of fuel for heat generation in the Company dropped by 0.6% to 139.3kg/Gcal.
