Auditing was implemented by members of the Czech Quality Association, which is a Certification Body of the International Quality Certification Net (“IQNet”), within March 29-April 6. The objective was to assess that the Plants were ready for certification according to the international standard ISO 14000.
In their Report, the auditors noted a huge amount of work performed by the Company's Environmental Protection Department and Plants' engineers as to improvement of the existing environmental protection management system. At the same time, they registered 9 unconformities including the need to improve internal auditing, to continue training personnel in ecological management, as well as technical remarks regarding procedure in collecting and preliminary storing of waste. Plants' engineers will have approximately two months to eliminate those unconformities until the next, that time final, audit.
