Moscow, 8 April 2004. Today, RAO UES Chairman Anatoly Chubais and Krasnoyarsk Kray Governor Aleksandr Khloponin held a meeting in Moscow to review the progress made in the study for the launch of a competitive segment of the wholesale electricity market in Siberia. The study is undertaken by a joint Working Group established by RAO "UES of Russia" and the Krasnoyarsk Region Administration on 9 March 2004.

The parties agreed on holding a presentation of the Working Group's findings in Krasnoyarsk.
