V.P. Yevtushenkov, Chairman of SISTEMA JSFC's Board of Directors, arrived in Davos, Switzerland, today for the annual session of the World Economic Forum (WEF). While in Davos, V.P. Yevtushenkov plans to attend the following Forum functions:

January 23 - a session on the Role of the Mass Media in Molding Public Opinion (Hotel Victoria);

January 24 - sessions entitled Barriers on the Road to Europe: Can Europe Become a Unifying Force (Hotel Sanada) and Corporate Management in Developing Countries as a Guarantee of Competitiveness (Hotel Seehof); and a workshop, Corporate Management: A Conflict of Interests (Hotel Belvedere);

January 25 - workshops: Prospects for Ukraine's Economic Development (Hotel National), Corporatism as an Element of Company Strategy (Parsenn Congress Center), and Europe and Russia (Hotel Fluela);

January 26 -workshop: entitled Bridges in Europe: European Integration (Studio Congress Center);

January 27 - workshop: "Telecommunications: When Will Another Breakthrough in Technologies Come?" (Sanada Congress Center) and Workshop "Assessment of the Business Climate in Russia" (Hotel National, a scheduled address).

The program for Mr. Yevtushenkov's visit to Davos includes a number of business meetings. In particular, his plans include meetings with Mr. Jean Lemierre, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; Mr. Paul Achleitner, Board member, Allianz AG Group; Mr. Jorma Halonen, President of Volvo Truck Corp.; Mr. Graham Allison, Director, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University's School of Government; Mr. Michael Wolf, director and senior partner, McKinsey; Dr. Volcker Jung, member of the Executive Directorate, Siemens AG; and Mr. Hannu Syrianen, President of Sanoma Co.

January 28 - V.P. Yevtushenkov plans to be back in Moscow.
