According to the contract, the volume of shipments total 2,500 tonnes. The contract has to be fulfilled in 2003 beginning of 2004. First shipments will begin in July 2003.

Equipment for hot dip galvanizing line will be made in compliance with technical specifications set by CMI and Drever (Belgium) as well as Foen (Germany), Ajax( Great Britain), and Beugin (France). Foreign companies will supervise the quality of the equipment in the course of its manufacturing and control the quality of the end product.

The contract will be fulfilled by SSM-Engineering, which will have to make detailed designs of all equipment based on the technical specifications provided by Western companies while maintaining them in agreement with Russian standards and norms.

All units of SSM-Tyazhmash will take part in making of equipment. Most jobs will be done by the boiler assembly shop and the mechanical repairs shop #1.

The new hot dip galvanizing line will make hot dip galvanized sheet for the automotive industry, including interior parts of vehicles. The sheet will be shipped to Russian and European automotive companies.
