This event is held by Adam Smith Institute - one of the leading international research institutes in the field of economic policy.
This year representatives of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, the International Trade Administration, the World Trade Organization, and steel making companies in Russia and abroad, including Arcelor, Fiesta Alpine, Magnitogorsk Steel Mill, Pipe Metallurgical Company, Nosta, etc. will take part in the event.
The conference will discuss the steel-making policy, business strategy of the leading steel-making companies in the world, perspectives of developing metallurgy in the CIS and Eastern Europe and other important subjects.
Vadim Makhov, deputy general director of Severstal-group on strategy and controlling, will take part in the second session which is titled Steel-making Strategy. His speech will touch upon evaluating today’s state of the steel-making industry in the CIS and Eastern Europe and its future perspectives.
