A temporary information centre (TIC) is created in each electric grid district (EGDs, which correspond to the municipal districts of the area) under the order by General Director of Moscow United Electric Grid Company in order to expand information awareness of the population about the course of emergency elimination works related with restoration of electric power supply in conditions of introduction of the emergency mode in a number of the districts of the Moscow Area. The task of TIC is to inform the local population on the course of emergency elimination works, loss of electric power and provisional time of restoration of electricity supply.
The time information centers will work round the clock on the basis of reception offices of EGDs chiefs.
