IDGC of North-West, JSC has carried out the 2009 repair program fully due to physical parameters, and with plan exceeding at separate positions.
“Additional amounts of electric grid objects repair have been carried out due to economy as a result of competition proceedings implementation,” explains Oleg Temerov, the Head of the Operation and Repair Department of IDGC of North-West, JSC.
Actual expenditures on implementation of the Company’s annual repair program measures equal RUR 1099.9 million.
Over the passed year, 39 substations and more than 1.5 thousand km of 35-150 kV overhead transmission lines have been repaired, as well as 27 power transformers with 35-150 kV capacity have been capitally repaired at branches of IDGC of North-West, JSC.
Repair of 2790 km of 0.4-20 kV grids, and 975 transformer substations with 10/0.4 kV capacity has been carried out at seven regions at the IDGC of North-West, JSC service area.
Within the frameworks of preparation to the autumn and winter period, 6.9 thousand hectare of 35-150 kV races, and 6.5 thousand hectare of 0.4-20 kV races have been cleaned.
“Actual need in repair due to its physical amount, in average, is by 2 times larger at separate equipment groups,” considers Oleg Temerov. In accordance with his opinion, a high level of 0.4-10 kV distribution grids technical depreciation worried most of all. While forming repair programs under the conditions of financial means, the priority goes at objects in insufficient technical state taking into account their social meaning for consumers”.
Note: Originally, expenses for the IDGC of North-West, JSC 2009 repair program were planned to equal RUR 1167 million. Nevertheless, the amount has been reduced by 5% over the year due to the Company’s business plan amendment.
