Lloyd’ Register of Shipping, DNV (Norway), GL (Germany), ABS (USA), BV(France), Russian Sea Register of Shipping (Russia), Russian River Register of Shipping have recertified 48 categories of ship building steel of increased and high durability.

Of 16 certificates 5 are issued to new grades of steel, made at the sheet rolling pant #1, 5 to the grades of steel made at the sheet rolling plant #2, 6 for those made at the sheet rolling plant # 3 (Mill 5000 in Kolpino, Leningrad region)). For example, Mill 5000 had certified rolled stock of higher durability and enhanced welding characteristics for Sevmashpredpryatiye. The list of Severstal’s largest buyers of shipbuilding steel include Sevmashpredpriyatiye, Admiralteiskiyie Verfi, Krasnoye Sormovo, Vyborg Shipbuilding Plant, Kamsk Shipping company, and a number of others.
