To ensure power supply to consumers in the North regions, in case of unscheduled outages, IDGC North-West has 86 own redundant power supply sources, including 60 mobile and 26 stationary diesel generators. Today, in the frames of the conference, directors of the company's branches have reported on the preparedness to liquidation of natural disasters, prevention and elimination of complex technical violations within the orders given by the Minister of Energy, during a meeting with heads of regional headquarters, which was hold on 14 January.
IDGC North-West, for the case of unscheduled outages, which may be caused by difficult weather conditions, formed 130 mobile units (784 person). Mobile repair and restoration teams fully staffed with all necessary, specially trained for rapid deployment in all regions of responsibility of IDGC North-West and are ready to move to the working area during 4 hours.
Mobile teams of IDGC North-West have 368 pieces of equipment, including 169 automobile units., 66 tractor units and 32 units of handling equipment and 97 units of special equipment. A branch of IDGC North-West "Komienergo” has largest number of mobile units 50 (319 persons). At their disposal are 176 units of technique, including 46 units of special equipment. In "Arkhenergo”- 20 mobile units (140 people) and 63 units of technique, special - 17 units.
“ Novgorodenergo” prepared to prompt mobilization 21teams (105person) with 29 units of automobile, tractor, lift and special equipment.

In the zone of service of IDGC North-West, are also the redundant power supply sources that can be used in emergency situations. But, as the audit showed, not all of them ready to operations. From 1921 redundant power supply sources, if necessary, can be readily employed only 1409.
Specialists of IDGC Northwest are annually actively involved in verifying the availability and serviceability of this equipment, conducted by the Federal Service for Supervision of Environment, Technology and Nuclear Management and the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of Russia, but the networking company doesn’t have the authority for independent verification of the equipment.
