The year of 2010 is the year of big sports competitions, and we strive to make the most interesting sports channels available for our subscribers. The addition of the two world-leading sports channels to our line-up is a gift to supporters before the Olympic Games in Vancouver and the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.”
Jean-Thierry Augustin, Executive Director for Distribution and Development of Eurosport SA, remarked: “We are glad to have come to agreement with COMSTAR-Regions, whose new content policy allowed us to consider the interests of both parties and to offer millions of subscribers the chance to follow the largest sports events on the world-best channels.”
