Z?? Medical Technologies-MTH has launched a program called “Diagnostics and Correction of Defects in Students’ Bearing"

Z?? Medical Technologies-MTH launched its program "Diagnostics and Correction of Defects in Students' Bearing." On February 18, 2003, the program "Diagnostics and Correction of Defects in Students' Bearing" developed by Z?? Medical Technologies-MTH on commission from Moscow's Education and Health Care departments and the Physical Culture and Sport Committee was unveiled officially. The program contains a series of measures designed to improve children's health, from diagnostics and compilation of a database allowing a watch to be kept on dynamics in the condition of the locomotive system to health-improvement sessions conducted with each child individually. Where necessary, children will be placed in specialized health schools or signed on a long-term rehabilitation course at a health improvement center in suburban Moscow.

In 2003, Program functions will be put on in Moscow's Southern District and in Zelenograd. The Program's three stages are scheduled to be completed by 2006. All of Moscow's schoolchildren will be covered by various components of the program "Diagnostics and Correction of Defects in Students' Bearing." Sidebar: The health of small children and adolescents has been observed to deteriorate significantly in the last decade. According to Health Ministry data, the number of healthy children in the nation's various regions fluctuates between four and ten percent. In a great majority of children, defects in bearing develop between the ages of seven and 18 years, that is, in the period of schooling. Statistical surveys conducted in Moscow schools between 2000 and 2001 showed that almost 90 percent of school students suffered, to a greater or lesser extent, from locomotive disorders, qualifying them for correctional or preventive help. The program "Diagnostics and Correction of Defects in Students' Bearing" is being implemented within the framework of the Children's Health citywide target program in Moscow (legislated by Moscow's Government in its Directive No. 572-PP, Children's Health City Program for 2003-2005, of July 23, 2002).

Z?? Medical Technologies-MTH carries out research projects, deploys a complex of proprietary high-technology manufacturing facilities producing medications and medical instruments and equipment, and develops and puts into effect socially significant programs in health care. This holding company comprises ZAO MTH (a private limited company producing infusion solutions and systems, vaccine against Hepatitis B and medical equipment), Orgsintez-1 R&D association (medications), ZAO ZBTK (laboratory equipment and diagnostic test systems), OOO Medical Service MTH (marketing), and ZAO MTH Komplekt (operation of manufacturing facilities and treatment and disease prevention institutions).
