The first ALROSA-Neva jewellery retail shop is to be opened in St.Petersburg on February 21, 2003, marking the launch of the first jewellery retail project by ALROSA in the North-West of Russia.
ALROSA-Neva will be one of the few jewellery shops in St. Petersburg to offer its customers the widest assortment of diamond jewellery. ALROSA-Neva will sell diamond jewellery in the price range from medium-priced to expensive capable of satisfying most demanding tastes.On two shop floors with a total area of 100 square metres the residents and guests of the city on the Neva River will find pieces of diamond jewellery by well-known Russian designers and jewellery manufacturers – RUSSKIYE SAMOTSVETY , the industry’s oldest factory and one on top of the list of the St. Petersburg Jewellers’ Guild, KAH?LONG, ALFA, as well as Moscow’s RUSSKAYA YUVELIRNAYA MANUFACTURA, ALMAZNY MIR, BRILLANTY ALROSA, etc.
Top ranking officials from the City Administration and representatives of the Russian diamond business are expected to attend the launch together with the ALROSA president Vladimir Kalitin.
The jewellery shop is located in the historic centre of Saint Petersburg, at the intersection of Suvorovsky Prospect and Vtoraya Sovetskaya Ul.
ALROSA-Neva JSC was established in 2001 as part of the program to diversify ALROSA’s activities with a view to market some of its diamond production as downstream products - polished diamonds and diamond jewellery- in St.Petersburg and the North-West of Russia through its own wholesale and retail network.
Igor Chertov, general director of ALROSA-Neva JSC, a skilled and experienced professional manager, has an established reputation of an expert in the jewellery business.
The launch of this project is an indication that ALROSA continues its policy of active support of Russian jewellery manufacturers.
