Meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of IDGC of Volga, JSC held in Penza on January 18-19. Representatives of the Company’s branches from seven regions within the Volga Federal District, electric power engineers, scientists and producers of electric power equipment took part in activities of the Council. Participants of Scientific and technical council have discussed questions dealing with systems of operative current and microprocessor terminals of protection and automatics, peculiarities of functioning of monitoring systems of isolation in chains of direct current, increase of throughput and reliability of functioning of high-voltage lines, and also operation of heat-resistant protective suits. Besides, electric power engineers have got acquainted with last samples of the modern control and measuring equipment, stationary storage batteries, charging rectifying- devices of various technology. Scientific and technical councils of «IDGC of Volga», JSC are spent regularly. Their target is development of methods for realization of uniform technical policy of the company, increase of reliability of an electric network complex, efficiency and safety of operation.
