On 12th of October 2004 on the yard Oshima Shipbuilding Corporation (Japan) the reception of a new bulker ship took place.
The bulker, which was named “FESCO Marina”, is the 2nd ship received by PLC FESCO this year in the frames of FESCO Fleet Renovating Program till 2009.
The new ship is designed for traffic of bulk and lumber cargoes. Now “FESCO Marina” is the most up-to-date bulker of FESCO fleet. The ship is equipped with 4 cranes which allow independent loading and unloading.
The crew of the ship is consisted of 21 people.
For the nearest 2 years the motor vessel is freighted by the first-class Danish charterer. And now the ship is in its first voyage, following to the port of loading (China). The ship will deliver the cargo of steel production to the ports of Nigeria.
Further the motor vessel will carry out traffics of various types of cargo between ports of Europe and Western and South Africa.
