During the twelfth session of the Permanent Russian-Iranian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, CEO of PJSC ROSSETI Oleg Budargin held a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Iran, Houshang Falahtian. 
During the meeting the parties discussed prospects of cooperation in various fields. Particular attention was paid to combination of power systems of Russia and Iran. The parties will explore the feasibility of several routes: through Azerbaijan as well as through other Transcaucasian countries. 
Also during the meeting, the parties approved concernment in developing scientific and technological cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of innovation and new technologies and study the possibility of their use for development of power systems of Russia and Iran.
